New Changing Room bench with three different kits. They are all different to signify the three most powerful football leagues in the world. The Aston Villa Kit has been put in for the direct link to Birmingham.

The setting up may change. I may hang the shirts from the wall.

FMP New Book

Here is my new book idea. It captures the innocence of the game, with a 1950's styled programme, which addresses a current issue.

There will be a few more pages added for reference purposes. I have designed them in single page format because the printers have asked me to do it this way, so they can put them together easily. The size will be A6(approx) and printed on normal paper.

FMP The Ugly Side of the Beautiful Game

My FMP is based upon the ridiculous wages paid to footballers throughout Europe, which are putting the game on its back legs. For the very first time a team in the best league in the world has gone into administration. Portsmouth are down and out, as finances behind the scenes have brought the club to its knees. Even though this is so, they have reached the FA Cup final. How can a team be relegated from the best league in the World, but then go on to be in the final of the oldest cup competition in the game. This shows that money has nothing to do with the players performances on the pitch.

I would like to address footballers wages and compare them to other skilled industries. Getting this comparison should put things into perspective.

Poster Ideas:

I will also express my thoughts on how the new system should be ran.

Here is the first book I have designed. It has been heavily influenced by the magazine 4-4-2. I feel this is a good attemp of a book, however it doesn't capture the innocence of football.

Homage_

For our photography brief, we had to pay homage to something. We also had to think of time and take this into consideration. I firstly thought of Aston Villa my club, but the idea is to commercial and cliche!

So I then thought of a banana. My favorite piece of fruit and it goes off very quickly. I was going to photograph a banana over a lifespan of one week, to see how it disintegrates. However, other people within the group thought of this process as well so I decided to do something else.

I wanted to photograph a model of car which is over 30 years old. I thought of a BMW, but then realised it would be quite difficult to photograph 6-8 different models within the time frame of the project. So I decided to do something closer to home, accessible and more relevant to the project. I have decided to photograph a Heidelberg Printer. A time producing machine. Once I have my photos I would like to process them through this very machine. Here are some photos I have taken of the Heidelberg printer.
